First Day of the Novena
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Let us bow with reverence and humility before the majesty and power of the Holy Spirit. Let us adore the Holy Trinity and today give glory to the Comforter, the most holy Advocate. O Holy Spirit, by Your power Christ was raised from the dead for the salvation of us all. By Your grace miracles are wrought in Jesus’ name. By Your Love we are protected from evil. And so, with humility and a contrite heart, we ask for Your gift of Love within us. O divine Spirit, only through Your power is the great Love of the saints possible. Increase in me the virtue of Love that I may love with that selfless love with which God loves the saints. Amen.
