Novena to St. Gemma Galgani

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Lord and God, we humbly fall on our faces before your infinite majesty and adore you. We offer you our devout prayers for your glory as an expression of veneration for your servant St. Gemma Galgani, and we now ask for her intercession.

Most compassionate virgin, St. Gemma, during your short life on earth you gave us the most beautiful example of angelic innocence and seraphic love. You were found worthy to bear on your body the marks of the Passion of our Lord. Have mercy on us, who are so greatly in need of God's mercy, and by your merits and intercession obtain for us the special grace for which we now fervently ask: (state your intention)

Pray for us, St. Gemma, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Prayer: O God, you transformed your servant Gemma into the likeness of your crucified Son. Grant us through her intercession the graces for which we humbly ask you, and through the suffering, death, and resurrection of your Son, unite us with yourself forever. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
